How did we manage to walk around town wearing those?
Imagine the high heeled shoes, white long sleeves gala uniform, neck scarf and gloves and as what Jesse called
it "troley-dolley cap".; and under the blazing heat.. Was it FUN?? Absolutely!!! Can we do this again??I think not.....
UPDATE.. May 2005 reunion ..Parade before
the picnic; we took the same route I believe only this one ended up in La Toria rather than Sakatihan field. Of course
I was in blue jeans and tennis shoes; I did it yes, but the heat got to me; my face turned beefy red that i almost passed
out when we got to La Toria.. I had to pour ice cold water on my head; which made me looked like a BIG mess for sure; but
no one pointed it out and since there was no mirror around, I had no way to check how I looked; but also I really
did not care; I was having so much FUN and then my dear "insan" Raul lectured me as to why did I have to join the parade and
I should have known better ; and of course my sister evelyn at the end of the day asked me to please go home and fix
myself; That verified how I must have looked. .Would definitely not do that again in 2010 ... and would definitely bring a
mirror this time.....But yeah, it was a lot of fun and was all worth it. A few of us then moved to a local "karokee bar" while
awaiting for JES' arrival, yes from London....
